I was about to go for a vacation for the whole summer one time and I thought that I would want to bring some of my concert DVDs so that I could watch them in a hotel because unfortunately the most amazing places to enjoy summer are remote places that might not have enough TV channels to watch. Some rest houses can’t provide DVD players so I have decided to buy a portable DVD player.

I have read a lot of reviews on different portable DVD players on many websites and watched You Tube reviews about portable DVD player and have finally knew what features are essential for a portable DVD player.

I have come across the Audiovox D2016 and was convinced to buy one. I am most satisfied with the product. I wasn’t quite sure but took the risk to try it and gave it a few weeks and observed if it would last long enough and I was happy to see it is still working after almost two years.

Aside from bringing it with me during vacation I also let my younger brother use it when travelling and it has been fun. It is a two hour ride from my home to our farm and it is good enough for my brother to watch his favorite Disney movie until we arrive at our farm. Its battery life is satisfactory. I feel that it is good enough compared to the other portable DVD players which can only play for about forty-five minutes.

The remote control of the portable DVD player is very handy though I don’t really use it that much since I usually place the player near me when I am watching.

Other additional features are its ability to play mp3 and pictures via USB and card reader.

The two features that I am really particular about when I was researching for a mini DVD player was the picture quality and the sound quality. Somehow, the audio and picture quality of the Audiovox is good enough considering its very affordable price.

I was simple amazed and didn’t expect that a portable DVD player as affordable as the Audiovox could actually present a very clear picture on the screen. I was even more surprised when I heard its audio quality. The mini DVD player is giving out a very good sound. You can also connect two speakers in it to create a louder sound.

Last but not the least, is its ability to tolerate movement in  car or in any vehicle. The CD or DVD inside the player doesn’t shake or move or skip a scene when it is being transported from one place to another.

As a whole, I am simply satisfied with the product, its features and its corresponding price.
